If you’ve ever done a content shoot with Fun Love Media, you probably noticed that we shot all of your content with smartphone cameras.

Because we specialize in capturing and creating content used primarily on social media platforms, smartphones are the best devices for the job, and here’s why.

Smartphone cameras can capture high quality video footage and photos with mostly automatic settings and with plenty of storage options built into the device itself.

Most social media viewers consume content on smartphones, therefore using them to create helps us see how the images will be framed from the viewer’s perspective.

And with the right lighting, the results produced are excellent and professional quality, especially when you’re experienced in smartphone photography like we are.

If we were filming things for cinema purposes, then a camera with higher resolution capabilities would be preferred so that everything looks crisp on a big movie screen. But the content we create is rarely consumed on a screen larger than a computer monitor.

Using smartphone cameras for the majority of our work is efficient, functional and keeps costs down, which means that our clients aren’t paying premium prices like they would with a traditional videographer.
