1. Content creators will continue to dabble in various apps, experimenting with the unique style and aesthetics of each until a clear “favorite” is chosen.
  2. Meta apps will need to refine and update their algorithms to meet user needs. Algorithms on IG/FB have felt like the wild west with no clear direction over the past few months, and if they want to attract displaced TikTok users (if TikTok gets banned), they need to push the appropriate content.
  3. As society continues to distrust leadership and blatant marketing, brands and businesses need to take a more authentic approach, showing empathy and a “look behind the curtain.” Product placement may become preferred to direct pitches for influencer marketing.
  4. Regardless of who is posting, people come first. People want to see and relate to other people and feel seen and understood.
